Getting to and from Wauconda is simple! It is easily accessed by automobile via several major highways including I-294 (Tri-state Tollway), I-94 (Edens Expy), IL Route 53, I-355 (North-South Tollway), I-55 (Stevenson Expy), I-90 (Kennedy Expy), and I-290 (Eisenhower Expy).
Train service is provided by Metra Rail. Commercial air service can be found at O'Hare International Airport, one of the world's busiest, and Mitchell Field, conveniently located just south of Milwaukee.
